    Verified Purchase I just received this dough cutter/scraper. I used it to scrap up chopped parsley, basil and garlic, and grated lemon zest. I didn't clean it for about 45 minutes, which was how long it took to cook and eat dinner. I am very disappointed to see that the metal seems to have some corrosion. I can only guess that this is due to the lemon zest. I don't believe it should have corroded. I have another dough cutter/scraper that I paid $5.00 for about 12 years ago. It still looks great. I guess the metal they use is of poor quality or wasn't processed properly. I had intended to purchase one of these for my son who likes to bake bread. Glad I didn't.

    If you need or desire a bench scraper with a thinner metal blade. This is it. I have a favorite scraper at work and it’s seen better days. Every time I buy one it has a thick stiff and dill blade. This one is perfect. Not too thick and not too thin to flex. Sharpens beautifully with file or stone. I am a happy baker!

    Very well made. I have needed this! I keep it between the cabinet and stove so is always handy when chopping! I chose this one because it is a favorite on America Test Kitchen and is made in the USA.
